**UPDATE** We’ll be meeting at Crisis Brewing instead of ONF after the meeting to get the last bus bench painted! 🎨

Join us this Wednesday, June 3rd, at 6:00pm for our monthly meeting, with a special guest! πŸ₯³

Britin Bostick, Long Range Planner and Special Projects Manager for the City of Fayetteville, will join us again for part of the meeting to discuss three staff pro-housing amendments that will go before city council in the near future. One of these amendments includes some parking reforms! 🀩

As always, join us after the meeting at Ozark Natural Foods for a more casual hang. πŸ€™

Congratulations to and on another incredible Strawberry Festival!

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our Rethink the Lot installation to help us decorate our new benches with a ton of beautiful and unique strawberries! We are seriously impressed with everyone's artistic skills.

These benches are coming to a bus stop near you very soon!

Today might have been the Strawberry Festival, but the amount of space that Fayetteville dedicates to surface parking is bananas!

Come Rethink the Lot with us at our installation on Center and Church through Wednesday (5/20) afternoon and consider what we could create if we prioritize building places for people over car storage.

Join us tomorrow, May 6th, at 6:00pm for our monthly meeting! πŸ™Œ

This month will be a bit different than normal as Rethink the Lot is coming up quickly. Along with some logistical planning, we'll also be doing some advocacy training so volunteers feel prepared and supported during the event. We'll cover talking points, what to expect, and how to respond to common situations.

Can't make it Wednesday, but still want to volunteer? Please let us know! We would love to have you there! 🫢

As always, you're welcome to join for a post-meeting hang over at ONF. We hope to see you at one or both of these events! πŸ₯³

Join us this Wednesday, April 1st at 6:00 pm for our monthly meeting! πŸ™Œ

This month will be a bit different than normal. Instead of a guest speaker or special topic, we will be dedicating this meeting time to planning for Strong Town's National Gathering and all that comes with it (i.e. Rethink the Lot). Come prepared to discuss and think ahead as May 18-20th creeps ever closer! πŸ˜…

As always, we will head over to Ozark Natural Foods afterwards for a more casual hang. 🍻

We hope to see you there! πŸ₯³

Join us TOMORROW, March 4th at 6:00pm for our March meeting! πŸ₯³

Don't forget that we have a new meeting location. This year, we are meeting in the Arkansas Justice Reform Coalition's Community Hub, located at 203 N. College Ave. πŸ“

In addition to announcements and updates, we will also plan to spend some time discussing the election results, namely the bond issues and the millage.

Our special guest speaker this month will be Kate Shirley, Green Infrastructure Manager at the Illinois River Watershed Partnership. She'll be talking about green infrastructure, how it's done, why it matters, and how it relates to Strong Towns principles. She'll also talk about IRWP and how to partner with her program. We'll also go outside for a little charette! 🀩

As always, we hope that you can make it and will join us after the meeting for some social time at Ozark Natural Foods! πŸ™Œ

Curious about how to dissect the 2026 bond proposal for Fayetteville? πŸ‘€

Let's break it down through a Strong Towns perspective by looking at what's actually on the ballot, what it costs (including interest), and how to think about infrastructure as liabilities, not assets.

We've recently moved! πŸ“For 2026, we will be meeting in the Arkansas Justice Reform Coalition's Community Hub. We're so thankful to get to use this new space! 🀩

How do we use our resources responsibly? Join us this Wednesday, February 4th at 6pm, to dig into the 2026 bond - the good and the bad. We're thrilled to have such an engaged community here in Fayetteville that cares about the nitty gritty. Come prepared to learn, discuss, and maybe make a new friend. :)

As usual, we will walk down to Ozark Natural Foods afterwards for a more casual hang. We hope to see you at one or both events! πŸ™Œ

TODAY, December 3rd at 6 pm, catch us at 355 N. College! πŸ“£

Join us for our monthly meeting, where we'll be discussing some project and committee updates, hot local topics like Ramay, and we'll also reflect on 2025 and look ahead to 2026. Alongside these, we'll also have two great presentations!

πŸš† Special Topic: ARDoT State Rail Plan Update
Richard Billingsley from NWA GO will walk us through the newly released Arkansas State Rail Plan. Passenger rail is finally included, but without a clear mechanism for funding or implementation. Richard and fellow advocate Jim Parrish will break down what’s in the plan and share how we can push for real progress.

πŸ‘‰ Special Guest: Forward 2050 with Tim Reavis (NWARPC)
We’re also excited to welcome Tim Reavis, Multimodal Transportation Planner at the NWA Regional Planning Commission. Tim will present Forward 2050: Connecting NWA Through Transportation Choice, a step-by-step approach to transit expansion in Northwest Arkansas. (You may have caught this at the ULI Place Summit!)

If you are passionate about the future of , passenger rail, or multimodal transportation in NWA, this is the meeting to attend. πŸ€“

And if it's not quite your thing? πŸ˜… We'll have plenty of other discussion items on the table, or you could always join us at Ozark Natural Foods across the street for a post-meeting hang.

Hope to see you there! 🀩
