WRMC Auxiliary Services All proceeds from the gift shop and fundraisers benefit Washington Regional Medical Center Auxiliary philanthropic projects.

The purpose of the Washington Regional Medical Center Auxiliary is to promote and advocate the welfare of the medical center and to further relationships in the community through volunteer staffing, in-service projects and fundraising. The Auxiliary provides service through their volunteer work at the information desk, ICU/CCU waiting room, and the Gift Shop. They also provide financial support to

the hospital. In 2000, they pledged $320,000 toward the initial building fund for the new hospital. They fulfilled this pledge in August 2003. In 2006, they pledged $500,000 for the expansion of the hospital. In 2023, the Auxiliary pledged $250,000 to the Washington Regional Medical Foundation to help fund the Washington Regional Simulation Center on the Washington Regional campus. In 2024, the Auxiliary purchased a shuttle van for Washington Regional Medical Center. Their work and support have had significant impact on Washington Regional and on improving healthcare in Northwest Arkansas. Some of the projects supported include:
• North Hills Capital Campaign for the “new” hospital
• Hospital Expansion Campaign
• Benevolence Fund – annually supports (Employee giving campaign)
• Women and Infants Center Expansion
• Auxiliary Nursing Scholarship
• Neurosciences Institute
• Cancer Support Home Capital Campaign
• COVID-19/Team Member Care Initiative
