WOW! Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude! Yesterday, more than 500 wonderful people joined us at North Regional Library to celebrate the Friends of the Cumberland County Public Library's 50th Anniversary Renaissance Faire! 🎉

And what a magical day it was! Mother Nature may have brought the rain, but YOU brought the sunshine! ☀️❤️ What could have been a rainy-day disappointment turned into a beautiful celebration filled with laughter, excitement, creativity, and community spirit — all under one roof! To every family who attended, every child who smiled with wonder, and every person who joined in the festivities — THANK YOU! You made our milestone celebration more meaningful than words can express. A very special thank-you to our extraordinary library staff, talented performers, participating vendors, and dedicated volunteers who worked tirelessly to bring this magical day to life. Your creativity, dedication, and enthusiasm were truly remarkable!

Let Books Be. Protect the Freedom to Read.
This week, Friends of the Library is celebrating the freedom to read and the important role libraries play in making books, ideas, and information available to everyone. Books can make us laugh. Books can challenge us. Books can introduce us to lives and experiences different from our own. And sometimes, a book can change the way we see the world.
That's the power of a book. Let's Protect the Freedom to Read.

Because of Friends ... Your Library Can Do More!

Every book sale, donation, membership, and volunteer hour helps strengthen our library and expand what it can offer our community.

Because of YOUR support, Friends was able to help fund the program, the Bubbles Wonder Program, and the Teddy Bear Clinic!

When you support Friends of the Library, you’re not just buying a book—you’re helping make more books, programs, and opportunities possible for your community.
