The CCBA is still attending and we will be inside! Come learn about honey bees, beekeeping, and taste some local honey! 1-5PM. And I hear there will be some delicious bourbon to taste!

The Forecast Calls for Bourbon. Rain? Shine? Either way, we’re pouring! Tomorrow’s Heritage & Harvest Bourbon Showcase will go on as planned, with wonderful indoor space ready if the weather gets a little spirited.

Hey Honey! We had a great CCBA monthly meeting tonight, learning all about that sweet liquid gold- honey! 🍯🍯🍯 Special thanks to members Matt and Jamie Booth for offering insight on honey bottling equipment and technique. Then, we heard from NCSBA Master Craftsman Beekeeper Mark Case from Randolph County Beekeepers Association on preparing the bee juice (honey) for a honey show! Honey shows can be tricky when there’s prize and pride on the line! 🏅Thank you Matt, Jamie, and Mark for your wisdom! 🐝🐝🐝
