Voice of Diversity is looking for individuals who have a passion for serving in the community.

VOD is looking for an office manager!

This is a position that provides a flexible schedule, professional development and networking opportunities.

Job Duties
● Oversees general office operations and gives reports to management
● Coordinates appointments and schedules and manages team calendars
● Manages filing systems and office supplies, maintains and keeps inventory of orders
● Oversee volunteer/staff interactions and responds to their queries
● Oversees guest experience, sorts mail and answers direct phone calls
● Plans all in-house or off-site activities of the organization
● Assist with the VOD programming as needed
● Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
● Provide information by answering questions and requests
● Ability to handle multiple projects
● Research and assist with writing grants and obtaining external sponsorships

Qualifications and Skills
A candidate should possess the following.

Education Qualifications
● High School Diploma

Preferred Qualifications
● Two years of experience as an administrative assistant or office manager

Necessary Skills
● Organizational and time-management skills
● Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office
● Analytical abilities
● Exceptional attention to detail
● Interpersonal skills
● Advanced computer skills, with an aptitude to learn new systems and procedures
● Hands-on experience with office machines and equipment
Preferred Skills
● Experience developing internal systems
