CVMA NC 15-1 Welcome to the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association® (CVMA®) North Carolina Chapter 15-1 Facebook public page. Welcome to the CVMA® NC 15-1 page.

We are a 501(c)19 non-profit Veterans Service Organization that loves to ride motorcycles and promote safe riding. This page was established as a way to keep our membership informed about upcoming events and establish a forum for communication. It also highlights the contributions of our membership to the public. We are, and continue to be, an association of Combat Veterans who share a common interest of riding motorcycles and helping our fellow Veterans. We are a professional association whose members treat all with respect. Do not post political views, profanity, derogatory comments, or any other disrespectful or private information on this page. Do not use this forum to discuss private chapter business or bash others. This page will be monitored and violators will be given a warning if their post violates the above. On Monday, October 12, 2026, we will honor the life and military service of Active-Duty U.S. Army Soldier Specialist Robert G. Mitchell, who passed away while serving on active duty.

The Mitchell family has requested funeral es**rt support from New Life Bible Church in Fayetteville to Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake.

CVMA® NC 15-6 invites available members of the veteran and motorcycle communities to join us in paying our final respects and supporting the family during this solemn occasion.

A good event for anyone in the area.

Anyone who wishes to attend can register here and use promo code SSVIP2026 on the third page of checkout. The code comps all ticket types (spectator, individual competitor, or team of four), and includes BBQ lunch, ci**rs, guns, ammo, etc. This year, attendees can compete to win Marlin Lever Action 30/30, 2011 custom pistol, and Ta**us RPC in a collab with Vortex Optics and Viktos.

Good morning!

My name is Danielle Campbell, and I am the Program Coordinator for our Family Support Services department here at Operation Homefront.

Every year (now in its 19th year) Operation Homefront hosts the Military Child of the Year® Awards. The awards are open to military children between the ages of 13-18. There are 7 recipients 1 child from each branch of service and each recipient receives $10,000 CASH, a laptop, other donated goodies, and a 3-day trip to Washington, D.C. with us and their families.

Children are entered by nominations. Anyone that knows a military child can nominate any military child. So, you may nominate your students, friend’s children, children can nominate their siblings and best friends and so on. The awards are open to Active Duty, reserves, Gold Star, National Guard, AND retired military children. The program is entirely FREE and exclusive to military children, and you do not need to create an account to submit a nomination.

We would also appreciate if you would help us get the word out there by sharing with your military families or if you happen to know a military child drop a nomination yourself!

If you know a military child, we would love to hear their story!!

Nominations are open now and will remain open until December 1st.
