It's National Good Neighbor Day and we're ordering a whole bunch of 🌮 tacos 🌮 and while Beatriz Segura talks shares an inspired and colorful, storyfilled evening! She will be exploring what it means to really see, know, and connect with the people around us even as we seek to create and learn individually. We're not only going to be sharing tacos - we'll be sharing tools on how to start neighboring if you need a little help. NWA is changing and we gotta get to know each other!
As always, the tacos are free and so are the smiles! Can't wait to see you at The BloomHouse!

➡️ Due to an event of a personal nature, David Brooks is no longer able to join us in Northwest Arkansas on Saturday, September 19.

➡️ We know many of you were looking forward to this gathering — and we were, too. So much care has gone into creating a space for people across Northwest Arkansas to come together, reflect, and connect around the relationships that hold our communities together.

➡️ Weave: The Social Fabric Project is working with Crystal Bridges and David Brooks to identify a new date.

Hosted by Clint Schaff of KUAF, this evening will bring together David Brooks, Robert Burns of the Walton Family Foundation, and Frederick J. Riley, Executive Director of Weave, for a powerful conversation about what it means to truly know one another, build relationships across difference, and strengthen the social trust that helps communities just like NWA thrive.

As Northwest Arkansas grows and changes, this is a moment to ask: What holds us together? How can we get to know each other more every day? And what everyday acts of care can help us build a more connected, generous, and resilient region?

Come be part of a meaningful evening rooted in story, place, belonging, and the common threads that connect us all. After the conversation, we'll have weavers from across NWA ready holding neighborhood discussion groups so you can practice knowing a person right then! 🔥

Join us as we celebrate both the art of weaving and America’s 250th anniversary through a unique community circle and collective art experience.
Participants will share in meaningful conversation about what it means to be an American and create a individual flag that represents them. We will then create a collective flag to represent all of our uniqueness, creating a living work of art that symbolizes the many threads that connect us. Armando Garcia with Q***r Craft Corner will be our Weaver Spotlighter and will help us create our personaized art.
We’ll also enjoy an old-fashioned ice cream social, offering time to gather, connect with neighbors, and celebrate together. Please bring a topping of your choice for the ice cream! Feel free to bring something unique! Link in the bio.
