Hey 👋 ! Weave: The Social Fabric Project is offering this "How to Encourage Youth Civic Engagement" to anyone who would like to attend. Helping our youth connect with the community around them helps them stay grounded, create lasting connections, and helps them see their neighborhoods in new ways. Check it out! 🧡

Join us tomorrow for an upcoming conversation on youth civic engagement.

We’re inviting educators, community leaders, parents, and anyone interested in supporting young people to come together and explore practical ways to help youth develop leadership, civic responsibility, and the ability to work across differences.

This session will focus on real, actionable ideas, including:

• How to create opportunities for student civic engagement
• Ways to support dialogue and respectful conversations across differences
• Small pilot projects that can be implemented in schools and communities

Together, we’ll explore how service learning, community partnerships, and meaningful dialogue can help young people build empathy, confidence, and a sense of purpose while addressing real issues in their communities.

Calling all community builders and connection weavers 👋

On April 1, 2026, Weaving NWA is launching the 2026 Weaver Awards—a community-led grant program that puts resources directly into the hands of people who are bringing neighbors together across Northwest Arkansas.

These $5,000 awards support local community builders who are creating connection, building trust, and helping communities show up for each other. They are gathering, innovating and solving community challenges armed with the knowledge that everyone has something to offer.

👉You know these people.
🧡They’re the ones others trust.
💥The ones who bring neighbors together when something needs to happen.
🫶The ones who make everyone feel welcome.

They are weavers.

And chances are—you are one, or you know one.

Applying (or nominating) is quick and simple. Visit us at https://weavers.org/weaving-nwa/

At this month's NWA Weave Gathering, we’re hosting a weaver-led Ask & Offer Market—and you’ll want to be in the room.

Every person in our community has something to offer.
A skill. A connection. A helping hand. And sometimes we have an ask, too.

When people bring both to the table, unexpected connections happen.

You might find exactly what you’ve been needing.
Or you might be the one who answers someone else’s call.

Come see what neighbors are offering and what’s needed. We'll be connecting again and sharing a meal. Simple things that make us all stronger. You know, like tacos. 🌮 Come hungry! 🌮

🍽️ Can the potluck cure America’s loneliness crisis?

We think it just might — and we’d love for you to be part of it. https://www.facebook.com/events/912574158419564

Join us for a FREE Community Potluck where we combine the best of what brings people together: good food, great company, handcrafted mocktails, and live jazz.
No pressure. No program. Just neighbors meeting neighbors and creating the kind of real, local connections that make a place feel like home.

✨ Event Highlights:
A warm, welcoming potluck meal (bring a dish if you want—no obligation!)
Fresh mocktails made on-site
Local jazz to set the mood
Space to meet new friends, share stories, and strengthen our community

Everyone is welcome. Whether you come with a casserole, a friend, or just yourself, there’s a seat for you at the table.

Let’s spend an evening proving that simple acts—sharing a meal, talking with neighbors, showing up—are the heart of a strong and connected community.

📍 Location: Manos on Emma
📅 Date & Time: December 4th, 6:00 pm

RSVP or share to invite a neighbor. https://www.facebook.com/events/912574158419564
