The Fayette County Education Foundation mourns with all of you in the loss of Dolly Parton.

Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, Dolly placed books into the hands and homes of children around the world and inspired a love of reading from the very beginning.

Over 500 children in Fayette County are currently receiving books from Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library (launched in late April 2026).

We are grateful for Dolly’s vision and belief in the power of reading. Her legacy will live for years to come in Fayette County.
