Parents, PLEASE encourage your 11th grade athletes to take the ACT at their AR school on 2/27. Even if the NCAA & some colleges don’t require (*for most students) it, many schools don’t have as many full rides they can offer, but a good ACT can make you eligible for academic money & more so it’s fully covered. Plus, many kids don’t know if GPA isn’t high enough some don’t meet university entrance requirements. Or even may have to take remedial classes & can cause offers to be rescinded. Plus it’s FREE and during school not 7AM on a Saturday. It’s better to have a score and not need it than to need it and not have it in time. At Allps School we have an ACT Prep course students can take online and earn 0.5 elective credit.
