Guest Speaker Victoria Huggins, Senior Manager Fayetteville Walk to End Alzheimer’s (also former Miss North Carolina and American Idol contestant) poses with some club members. Club members Jim Thornton, Josephine Mecca, Mike Karaman, Warren Hahn, (Joseph Dowless, and John Bantsolas not pictured) represented our club at the Operation Inasmuch Ground Breaking Ceremony for the Village, that will be comprised of 16 one-bedroom cottages for homeless veterans. Our club gave a substantial donation for the project.

The Kiwanis Club of Cape Fear is proud to continue our Kindergarten Backpack Project! This year, we were able to support 37 Cumberland County Schools by providing 4,000 backpacks - one for every child entering Kindergarten, plus a few extras for students who may need one.
Working closely with our school principals, 14 dedicated club volunteers and 3 Village Christian Key Club members delivered the backpacks in just one week, traveling as far as Beaver Dam to ensure every child was reached. Join our club and you will be rewarded in the most amazing way! Kids Need Kiwanis!❤️
