World Homeless Day
October 10, 2026

Today is World Homeless Day. The issue of chronic homelessness is what brought me into social work - the idea that the wealthiest nation in the world has such a massive problem with homelessness is deeply distressing. There are, however, humane and wonderful solutions like Eden Village of Wilmington! I took some of my students there a few weeks ago to see what partnership, vision, and compassion can produce. Please visit their website and make a contribution to support their efforts. Chronic homelessness can be eradicated.
