🌱 From our garden to our guests.

What started as a few raised beds through our Veggies for Vets partnership is already making a difference.

Thanks to volunteers who planted, watered, weeded, and harvested, fresh produce is making its way into meals served right here at Fayetteville Cares.

Every strawberry picked, every pepper harvested, and every squash grown represents something bigger than food.

It represents community.

Thank you to everyone helping this garden grow.

With heat index values expected to reach 100°F–107°F, Cumberland County and the City of Fayetteville has opened cooling centers for residents who need a safe place to escape the heat.

Fayetteville Cares is proud to serve as one of these cooling center locations during our normal operating hours.

For additional locations and updates, visit CumberlandCountyNC.gov.

Please share to help spread the word. ☀️

June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month

Mental health affects every part of our lives, yet many men are taught to stay silent about stress, anxiety, depression, grief, and other challenges.

This month, we're joining communities across the country in raising awareness, encouraging conversation, and reminding men that seeking support is a sign of strength.

You are not alone. 💙

Some of the best conversations happen over lunch.

Every meal served at Fayetteville Cares is more than food. It is community, connection, and a reminder that people matter.

Thank you to everyone who helps make moments like this possible every day. ❤️
