We’ve got exciting news at Fayetteville Cares! ❤️💙

In partnership with Chosen Resource Center, we’re offering transportation to the Department of Social Services to help our guests connect with the resources they need!

🚐 Every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month
📍 Pick-up at Fayetteville Cares at 10:30 AM
🕒 Return to Fayetteville Cares at 3:00 PM
🥪 A bag lunch will be provided
💺 10 seats available, first come, first served

A rider agreement is required, and all riders must return to Fayetteville Cares with the van.

Stop by our front desk for more information! We’re thankful for partners like Chosen Resource Center who help us serve our guests and make accessing support a little easier. 🫶

If you're excited for this Veteran Village being built, come on out and write a message or prayer for the future guests that will get to stay here. Three dates available now so don't miss it!

🌧️ A little rain may change our plans, but it won't stop us from filling the Village with prayer!

With inclement weather expected this weekend, we're postponing Sunday's Prayer & Scripture event at Inasmuch Village.

But here's the good news: We're opening THREE new opportunities to come write prayers and Scripture on the studs of the cottages that will soon become home for Veterans experiencing homelessness! ❤️

🖊️ Tuesday, October 13 | 9–10 AM
🖊️ Thursday, October 15 | 2–3 PM
🖊️ Sunday, October 18 | 2–4 PM

Bring your Sharpie, wear close-toed shoes, and join us in covering these future homes with words of faith, encouragement, and hope before the walls go up!

☕ Happy International Coffee Day!

At Fayetteville Cares, a cup of coffee comes with a warm welcome and a little connection. ❤️

A huge thank you to Canteen (link for their website in coments) for donating cases upon cases of coffee, keeping our guests’ cups filled each day!

And special recognition goes to Mr. Richmond, whose dedication in the cafeteria makes every cup extra special. From keeping the coffee flowing to taking time to connect with our guests, he reminds us that a simple cup can start a meaningful conversation.

Here’s to full cups, friendly faces, and the people who make it all possible! ☕💙

A fresh haircut can make someone’s day, and Global Vision Barber College helped make that happen for nearly 30 Fayetteville Cares guests! 💈

Thank you to the students and staff who came out and gave haircuts to both men and women. We appreciate the time, care, and attention you gave each guest. Our community is stronger because of partners like you! ❤️💙
