What does "Building a Champion for Life" mean? You've probably seen these words in our facilities, on our website, and even on our social media pages, but you may have never stopped to think about what a Champion for Life is and how AAO is accomplishing that.

Terry Poole, who participated here as a youth athlete and now returns as a coach and a mentor with AAO Programs, talks about the impact AAO creates:

"The community aspect as far as coaches to players relationships... I know a lot has happened for me because of a relationship with a coach. So it has given me access to all of that and surrounded me with the right people."

For AAO, "Building a Champion for Life" starts with a kid entering an AAO program, which allows us to position coaches to impact the lives of every athlete that enters. Coach Terry is a Champion for Life: his story is the AAO story and we will continue to open our doors so lives can be transformed.

Being a part of the Flight Family is about more than just getting better at basketball. It's about developing men and women of character. Several of our Flight teams have had the opportunity to give back to the community this year and work together off the court to help enrich the lives of those around them. We're grateful for the ways these kids are eager to serve their community!

Huge shoutout to Luke Martin, our 2%er of the Month! 👏
Luke brings a great attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to do whatever is needed to help create a great experience for everyone who walks through our doors. We’re grateful for the way he serves, leads, and represents what it means to be a 2%er.
Thank you, Luke, for all you do! Help us congratulate him in the comments! 🎉
