Hey everyone, The lake is being lowered about 1 foot starting today to allow for Dam inspection photos via drone.

Announcement from the Dam lowering committee:
DUE TO COVID 19 CONCRETE CRACK REPAIR CREWS,
AND FENCING REPAIR CREWS ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE THE WORK NEEDED FOR THE TIME BEING FOR THE PREVIOUSLY PLANNED LAKE LOWERING AND IN AN EFFORT TO LOWER FOR DAM MAINTENANCE REPAIRS THE COMMITTEE ARE
lOWERING THE lAKE LEVEL BY 12 INCHES *ONLY FOR APPROX 2 DAYS FOR INSPECTION OF THE DAM SPILLWAYS AND EMBANKMENT Feb 1 -3
*Next actual full 4 feet lowering is now set to October 15 2022

*In the event an emergency is discovered postcards announcements will be sent and lowering will occur to accommodate any emergency.

Hey all, as everyone may have noticed we're a little late lowering the lake as the last postcard indicated. Covid affected some of the contractors. It is scheduled for February 1st

Lake was holding steady till about noon today. It has been rising based on the heavy rain this afternoon. About 36-42 inches above normal.
