What an incredible gift for children in foster care!

A huge thank you to United Way and The Home Depot for providing 41 brand-new bicycles and 150 filled backpacks for Bloom! And that’s on top of the 300+ filled backpacks already generously donated by United Way. 🚲🎒

We are especially grateful to Erika Mims with United Way of Greater Atlanta, who so graciously continues to think of Bloom when completing projects and finding ways to give back. Your kindness helps ensure our kids have the essentials they need—and a few things that simply bring JOY! ✨

Thank you, United Way, The Home Depot, and Erika, for helping our children feel supported, valued, and loved. 💚

A big thank you to the Berry Bonners from Berry College for spending the afternoon volunteering at Bloom Northwest Georgia!

These amazing students rolled up their sleeves and helped sort seasonal clothing donations by size, getting everything organized and ready for children and teens in foster care who will need them in the months ahead.

We’re so grateful for young people who choose to give their time to serve others and make a difference in their community. Thank you for helping our kids Bloom! 🌸

A huge thank you to Girl Scout Troop 20534 of Smyrna for choosing to support Bloom as part of their Girl Scout Silver Award project! 🌟

These incredible Girl Scouts set an ambitious goal to collect 300 pieces of new and gently used luggage through their Travel Bags Collection Drive—helping ensure children in foster care have something of their own to carry their belongings in.

For a child entering foster care, something as simple as a suitcase or travel bag can provide dignity, comfort and a sense of belonging during an uncertain time. ❤️

We are so grateful for these young leaders and their commitment to making a difference in their community. Thank you, Troop 20534, for showing our kids just how much they matter! ✨

639 BRAND-NEW BOOKS for foster children! ✨📚

For the second summer in a row, Books-A-Million hosted a book drive benefiting Bloom—and this year, they far exceeded anything we could have imagined!

Thanks to the incredible BAM store managers, staff, and generous customers, 639 new books will make their way into the hands of children we serve, bringing excitement, imagination, adventure, and the joy of reading. 💛

We are so grateful to everyone who helped make this possible.

Thank you, Books-A-Million, for helping our kids turn the page to something wonderful! 💚

👟 171 pairs of brand-new shoes—and one incredible legacy of giving. 💙

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Zac Levin and the entire Levin Orthodontics community for continuing a tradition that means so much to children in foster care.

Dr. Zac Levin is a third-generation orthodontist carrying forward the legacy of his late father, Dr. Barry Levin, who believed every child deserved a new pair of shoes—and the comfort, confidence, and sense of belonging that can come with them.

Through this year’s Sneakers That Fit drive, an incredible 171 pairs of BRAND-NEW shoes were donated to Bloom, along with baseball hats, diapers, clothing, and other much-needed essentials for children in foster care.

We are so grateful to Dr. Levin, his team, patients, and community for honoring Dr. Barry Levin’s memory in such a meaningful way. Thank you, Levin Orthodontics, for helping our kids step forward with dignity and confidence!

A huge thank you to Fayette Burn Boot Camp for collecting an incredible 1,178 toiletry items for Bloom through their “No Burpees” Challenge!

We’re so grateful to owners Mike and Jenna Price for finding such a fun—and challenging!—way to rally their members around giving back to children and families in our community.

Thank you to the entire Burn Boot Camp community for showing up, giving generously, and making a difference for Bloom! 💙

🌟 Did you know you can put your Georgia state tax dollars to work for foster youth?

Each year, young adults age out of foster care and face adulthood without the support system many of us take for granted. Through the Georgia Fostering Success Act Tax Credit Program, you can redirect a portion of your Georgia state taxes to Bloom and help change that.

Your tax dollars can help provide critical support for young adults transitioning from foster care—helping prevent homelessness while building pathways to education, employment, and independence. ❤️

You’re already paying state taxes. Why not use them to help a young person build a brighter future?

During this time, our team will be reorganizing, streamlining, and ensuring efficiency as we process the incredible gifts you’ve recently shared with us during the back-to-school season.
