I don't know about you but for me the holidays can be as STRESSFUL as they are WONDERFUL! Getting to see family, parties, delicious food and gifts alongside a lot of travel, financial strain, and relational expectations. One way I've found that helps me stay GROUNDED in the midst of it all is John and my nightly Advent devotional. We light a candle, read, sing, and pray. It's simple and such a grace for us in the midst of all the chaos. John has completely updated our Advent devotional and we are making it available for download for all of you for FREE! My prayer is that you find it as life giving and grounding a practice as we do and allow it to refocus your Advent and Christmastide season!

In reality any kind of growth is slow, it takes time. Our world is so fast, we can come expect everything to happen instantly. It can be difficult to have patience with ourselves and with God. This short podcast really blessed me this week, a reminder to have patience.
