Just a reminder that we have a meeting this Thursday, November 9th at 10:30. We will be meeting at the LEC Building D across the hall from the media center in what was the cafeteria. Our speaker will be someone from Piedmont Wellness Center.

FYI that GA Retired Educators Day is coming up on Nov 5.

Our FC Board of Ed will recognize this at the board meeting on Monday Oct 23 that begins at 7 pm.
Please drop by so FCREA will have members in attendance!

The board meeting will take place in Building A of the LEC which is the old FC High.

Our October 12th meeting will be held at Lake Horton, North Pavillon in Fayetteville.
We are having a tailgate/picnic with some fun activities included.
Update: All, we will be under a covered pavillion tomorrow so we will meet rain or shine!

We will have a picnic lunch including sandwiches from Publix, chips, soft drinks, water, and cookies provided by Kroger.

In order to make sure we have enough food, we are asking that you RSVP when an Evite invitation is emailed to you.

Wear your favorite team shirt, and comfortable walking shoes!

Our first meeting for 2023-24 will be on Thursday, Sept 14 at 10:30 at the LaFayette Ed Center. Building D.
We are so excited that our speaker will be Christy Todd who is the first Fayette County teacher to be selected as a GA TOTY!

Meeting dates for 2023-2024.
We meet the second Thursday of each month at the LaFayette Ed Center (old FCHS) in Fayetteville at 10:30. Building D in the media center.

*March 14th: Chrissy O’Neal, Retired FC Teacher Topic is We Have Every Day……It Is a Gift!!

* April 11th: Get on the bus because we are going on a Field Trip to visit the GREA Museum
