Save The Date! The 39th annual Fayetteville Rotary Walker Family Golf Classic tees off on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Kings Grant Golf and Country Club. A local tradition since 1986, the golf tournament raises funds for Fayetteville Rotary Club annual service projects.

Eight outstanding Methodist University students were recognized yesterday by the Fayetteville Rotary Club for their ethical values, service, and leadership. The award honors the life and legacy of Rotarian Dr. William P. Lowdermilk for whom the award is named. Recipients were presented cash and/or tuition credit awards. The awards were presented by MU President Stanley T. Wearden, Past Rotary Governor Dave Baggett and Fayetteville Rotary Club President David Deschamps.
