Ever wonder if your voice really matters in local decisions?

💬 At our latest Young Professionals of Cape Fear Kiwanis gathering, we dove into the power of youth civic engagement and how it shapes the future we share. Together, we asked:

• Do you feel seen and heard in your community’s decisions?
• What makes civic involvement feel approachable—or out of reach?
• Is social media a tool for change or a distraction from it?
• Are young leaders truly being equipped to lead?

🗝️ These conversations matter — because informed voices lead to impactful change. Want a seat at the table? Start by joining the dialogue.

🏆📍 Meetings proudly sponsored by Ace 19, located at 7105 Bragg Blvd, Fort Bragg NC.

Big News from Teen Connect!

At the Marius Maximus Foundation, we know that supporting our youth means supporting the whole family. That’s why we’re excited to announce that Teen Connect will soon be expanding to include a structured program for both teens and their caregivers!

We believe real, lasting change happens when teens and the adults in their lives grow and learn together. Our upcoming program will provide a safe space for open dialogue, emotional support, and practical tools that strengthen the relationship between teens and their caregivers.

Why? Because improving outcomes for youth takes more than just one side showing up — it takes connection, collaboration, and community.

Stay tuned for updates and launch dates — we can’t wait to walk this journey with you.

If you noticed more traffic the last few days. Count on traffic on both I-77 & I-85 to be bushy for the foreseeable future. All traffic is being detoured as the way to get around the mountains.
