Women in Ministry, Fayetteville Chapter known as "WIM", is a non-profit organization which caters to the encouragement of all women. WIM now offers many resources to empower women to be successful in life, family, and work. WIM was birthed in the heart of First Lady Barbara T. Lockett. Lady Lockett is a native of Greensboro, NC where she assists her husband in ministry at Evangel Fellowship Church of God in Christ, a thriving 2,500+ membership ministry. At Evangel Fellowship COGIC, First Lady Lockett oversees the Women's Ministry and serves as District Missionary of the NC Greater Piedmont District of the Churches of God in Christ. First Lady Linda Allen is the wife of Pastor Gary Allen Sr. and they have been married over 20+ years. They are the proud parents of 2 wonderful children: Mariah and Gary Jr. First Lady Allen Co-Pastors with her husband at Word of God Christian Center in Fayetteville, NC. First Lady Allen founded the "Warring Women of Excellence," also known as WWOE, in 2006. WWOE has developed into Coffee Cake and Conversation, a spiritual support group that reaches out to women throughout the communities, that meets every other Monday to discuss current issues and how to apply the biblical approach to their daily lives. First Lady Linda Allen also facilitates Women’s Encounter - a weekend away with God. She encourages everyone to maintain a spiritual maintenance plan to walk out their deliverance God’s way. He has laid it on her heart to start a WIM chapter here in the Fayetteville Region to enhance the work of the kingdom for God’s Glory.
