Over the course of Friday and Saturday, Safe Kids Fayette County GA made contact with just over 3000 folks at two events. And because of our Community Partners Clothes Less Traveled Nonprofit Thrift Shop we had safety materials that the kids wanted and will use to go along with all the great safety information and items for adults and the families. AND, the materials are starting to be printed bilingual, helping us reach more members of the community. We just wanted to send out a huge thank you for helping making this possible. We are here and ready for you. City of Fayetteville Fire Department has set up a spooktacular Haunted Fire House and they are cooking up some food. There will be multiple health and safety groups here for you to get valuable information from as well as free give aways. We will be with City of Fayetteville Fire Department for their annual Fall Festival on Saturday, October 25. We will have lots of great Halloween safety tips for kids and parents. We will also have tons of give away items. Thanks to our Community Partners Clothes Less Traveled Nonprofit Thrift Shop we have coloring books, activity books, household safety protection kits, and stickers. We also have smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, gun locks, disinfecting wipes, and even car seats/boosters. Oh, and treats for the kids (and parents 😉). See you there starting at 4:00 p.m.
