Cub Scout Pack 152 - Fayetteville, NY

10/16/2026

Last evening, we had the honor of hosting some special guests at our pack meeting. The Town of Manlius Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7872 presented certificates to some of our scouts in recognition of their assistance in planting flags for Memorial Day. Our scouts greatly value the opportunity to work alongside and learn from our local veterans.

As one who has been interested in Scouting over many years it has been most heartening to have so many evidences of the practical values of Scout training. We must remember that next to active military service itself, there is no higher opportunity for serving
our country than helping youth to carry on in their efforts to make themselves physically
strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.

We had an incredible time at the 31st annual Stealth campout at Highland Forest this past weekend hosted by Boy Scout Troop 152!

Our older Cub Scouts were invited to participate in a series of activities and exercises intended to introduce scouts to the skills necessary to stalk or trail an individual/animal and to travel through an area undetected.

They concluded the evening with the main event: a game similar to capture-the-flag in the forest, played without flashlights, where participants tried to avoid capture in the dark. The scouts are already looking forward to next year's event.

We were also joined by Scouting America - Cicero Scouting Community and our neighbors at Troop 369 of Manlius.

We had a wonderful time at the Fayetteville Festival last weekend! The members of Boy Scout Troop 152 constructed an impressive monkey bridge and Cub Scout Pack 152 - Fayetteville, NY ran an axe throwing booth. It was great to meet so many members of our community.

A huge thank you to the Village of Fayetteville for allowing us to camp in the park and be a part of the festival!

Scouts from Pack 152 and Troop 152 joined forces this morning to clean up their designated stretch of Route 92 as part of the Adopt A Highway program. This is just one of the many ways we contribute to our community.

We will never forget 🇺🇸

It is a day of remembrance. Today marks the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001 – a day when we saw the best of humanity rise to meet the worst of days.

From the bravery of first responders to the heroic acts from ordinary civilians, 9/11/01 united us through courage, service and the duty to country.

Thank you to every person who helped. As we reflect on 9/11, we take a moment to remember. Then find a way to serve. That’s how we truly never forget.
