We serve young poets ages 13-19 by providing opportunities to grow through writing and performance workshops, open mics, and slam competitions. Our monthly open mic "Fresh Ink Open Mic" takes place every second Friday of the month. Our slam competition season takes place September through April, where poets compete for an opportunity to make it to our finals. Our Grand Slam Finals takes place in April and determines our competition team to represent Fayetteville at Brave New Voices.
