We are not a program or an institution, a denomination, or even defined by our country of origin. The James Initiative is members of the body of Christ mobilized to care for the orphans of the world (Isaiah 1:17), and depending on Him for good work to be done (Philippians 4:13). Our desire is to inspire other Christ followers to have a heart for orphans and to activate that heart into action. We believe God has blessed every one of us with our time, talents, possessions, and influence - not to hold on to, but to use to bring glory to His name (Colossians 3:23). The ministry will be facilitated through the Biblical model of love, gospel, families, discipleship, education, business, and the equipping and empowering of the local Church - who will be at the heart of the work. (James 1:27)
Join us in bringing help to a needy world! Is God stirring you to take action on behalf of orphans? Send us a message and let us know what time, talent, possession, or influence you can use to support His command. We are consistently looking for ways to network with partners including other orphan ministries, foundations, congregations, families, and leaders to be one body of believers doing more for His name.
