We are not a program or an institution, a denomination, or even defined by our country of origin. The James Initiative is members of the body of Christ mobilized to care for the orphans of the world (Isaiah 1:17), and depending on Him for good work to be done (Philippians 4:13). Our desire is to inspire other Christ followers to have a heart for orphans and to activate that heart into action. We b
elieve God has blessed every one of us with our time, talents, possessions, and influence - not to hold on to, but to use to bring glory to His name (Colossians 3:23). The ministry will be facilitated through the Biblical model of love, gospel, families, discipleship, education, business, and the equipping and empowering of the local Church - who will be at the heart of the work.
