Aloha from Tokay Senior Center! 🌺

Today, Tokay Senior Fitness Center had a wonderful Luau-themed Lunch & Learn! Participants shared delicious dishes, learned heart health tips for vacation, and enjoyed a fun luau dance class.

A big thank you to Tana Coleman, Recreation Center Supervisor, for making this event possible for our seniors! 🙌💖

Today, the Bell of Hearts Foundation visited the Spring Lake Senior Center in Spring Lake, NC. ❤️ We had a helpful discussion about "Diabetes and Your Heart." Participants learned how high blood sugar can increase the risk of heart disease and picked up valuable tips for managing their blood sugar levels.

To wrap up, everyone took a walk to get some steps in.

Today, our Heart Walk & Talk for Seniors at the Tokay Senior Fitness Center was a success! Thank you to our amazing community partner, Oak Street Health, for joining us! Together, we promoted valuable heart health information and encouraged physical activity in Cumberland County, NC.
