The NWA Cheetahs Travel Team is moving on up! We will be a 14U "C" team this fall and have open positions on our roster for one or two 2004 (or possibly 2003) birth year utility players/outfielders for the 2017-18 fastpitch season.
The search is on for young ladies who are passionate about softball and are willing to work hard to take their game to the next level. We play 2 tournaments a month during the fall and spring seasons (one on the road) as well as participate in a local fall league. We have a team goal of attending Nationals in July of '18. The team will practice in the off season (November through February). We have an amazing, welcoming group of parents with great synergy who are there to cheer on and support our girls.
My husband and I have and engaged with fastpitch softball for 16 years, and have participated in the Fayetteville Fastpitch League since its inception. One of my assistant coaches, and pitching coach, has played ball herself for over 20 years up through college, the other is her older sister and has also grown up engaged with the sport. We focus heavily on fundamentals and growing players both physically and mentally in the sport.
