Great Morning!

The Southeast is truly Spectacular! Yesterday, as part of The City of Fayetteville’s celebration of Juneteenth history was made. Sister Tamesha Livingston; a proud member of Las Amigas, Incorporated Raeford Chapter was crowned yesterday Mrs. Juneteenth in the Veteran Category.

Oh yes, excellence indeed runs in the family. Sister Livingston’s lovely daughter, Aaliyah Latiker was crowned 2026’s Ms. Juneteenth.

Thank you for your service Sister Livingston, continue to do great things!

Excellence is honored in the Southeast Region of Las Amigas Incorporated.
We are proud to share the Las Amigas, Incorporated Raeford Chapter awarded their 2026 Scholarship in Hoke County during the high school’s annual Senior Night.

The $1000 award was presented to Miss. Aaliyah Latiker by President Traci Jones and members of the chapter.

May is Lupus Awareness Month, a time to shine a light on this complex autoimmune disease and its disproportionate impact on Black women and communities of color.

Knowledge is power. Early diagnosis, symptom tracking, and self-advocacy can make a life-changing difference.

Las Amigas Incorporated is proud to share this infographic to educate, empower, and encourage women to listen to their bodies and seek answers.

Together, we can raise awareness, support those living with lupus, and promote health equity.
