Next week millions of Americans will lose their snap benefits. This is on top of those same Americans losing health care due to massive rate increases.
This is unacceptable. Our politicians and leaders are failing us at every level. This madness is coming to a point right before the holiday season. This year has been one that has rocked us to the core and we are still in recovery mode. However, as you may have noticed - we WILL NOT BE SILENT. And now, we WILL NOT BE STILL. We don't have much but we wanted to start something that could grow to help many more than we could by ourselves.

We want to sponsor 4 families that will be losing SNAP benefits a Thanksgiving meal. This year Aldi has family meals for $40. This meal includes:

Whole Turkey
Chicken Broth
Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
Evaporated Milk
Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
Miniature Marshmallows
Cut Green Beans (x2)
100% Pure Canned Pumpkin
Shells & Cheese (x2)
Brown Gravy Mix (x3)
Poultry Spices & Herbs
French Fried Onions
Pie Crust
Chicken or Cornbread Stuffing (x2)
Whipped Dairy Topping
Yellow Onions (3 lbs.)
Baby Peeled Carrots
Celery
Cranberries
Sweet Potatoes (3 lbs.)
Russet Potatoes (10 lbs.)

All the things you need to make up a great meal for family! Its says it feeds 10 but we have done these before and its closer to 6-8 IMHO.

This doesn't help with healthcare. It doesn't pay rent. It doesn't lower the cost of gas or utilities. But maybe, we can take one stress off of families' minds. Maybe it will allow them to have one normal day. One day they can focus on each other and not worry about how they will provide for their family. Because we've been there. It sucks. We know first hand what that feels like.

If you ARE someone, or KNOW someone who is in the position, message us! We gotchu covered! As I said, we can only cover 4 meals, so it will be first come first serve.
Maybe you're someone that's been looking for a way to help? You can donate $40 to our cause and we will keep increasing the number of families we help! We will document the whole process (aside of names of familes for privacy) for transparency and so you can know your meal went to a local family in need.

The is in full swing! Pick up your favorite spring goodies! There’s still time to swing by today until 2pm.

Our NWA growers have had an especially tough spring with all of the rain and storms.

Come out and support them every Saturday from 7am - 2pm on the Fayetteville Square.
