📚✨Earlier this year, BLVT Foundation representative Kayla Lott, and Health Communications Specialist, Dajuana Phillip visited CCPS high schools to connect with graduating seniors and share more about our public health scholarship opportunity, the importance of public health, and the work of the foundation.

Our team enjoyed engaging with students, answering thoughtful questions, and providing essay tips and application guidance throughout the visits. It was inspiring to meet so many students passionate about their futures and interested in making an impact in public health.

We’re proud to share that these outreach efforts contributed to a 61% increase in scholarship applications compared to last year, and several of this year’s scholarship recipients came from schools we had the opportunity to visit. Congratulations again to all 10 of our outstanding scholarship winners! 🎓👏

Thank you to the students, counselors, and staff who welcomed us into your schools. We’re looking forward to returning again in the future. 💙
