Hands of Mercy Outreach Center Hands of Mercy is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation. We are a food bank that also shares the good news of Jesus Christ.

We believe in meeting tangible needs of those in Lincoln County. We provide assistance with food and utility bill assistance. The center is open on Tuesday and Thursday from 9 to 3. We also have our Weekend Feeding Program, aka BOBS (Bags of Blessings). This is a bag on non-perishable food that is sent home with critical needs children identified by the school counselors. We also offer several Mob

ile Food Pantries from our building on Easy St. throughout the year where we give food away to the first 250 families present. We are not part of any one church in Lincoln County but rather a community organization where we are supported by MANY different churches, organizations, businesses and individuals. Our organization is something that ANYONE can be involved with. We love to help people and also enjoy bringing a true sense of community as we all work together to make a difference in Lincoln County by being the hands and feet of Christ. Food Lockers are back up and running. Just remember that if you’re able to come in on a Tuesday or Thursday from 9-3 then we’d kindly ask you to utilize these days and times to come inside to get your food. We can only feed 8 families through the locker system and really want to try and target those families that can’t come in during those days/times due to various reasons. Thank you all!

Huge shout out to Flintville First Baptist Church for their amazing food donation that came in during their VBS and their donation of $800 also from their VBS offerings that came in! They collected 719 pounds of food!! We can’t say thank you enough to amazing partners like Flintville First Baptist for their support! Way to go!

Unfortunately, the food lockers are having some technical issues and the refrigerated coolers are not working right now and we won’t be able to fill any requests until they are repaired. I’m waiting for the technician to reach out about scheduling the repairs. So sorry! Please feel free to visit us on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-3 to receive food. As soon as they are repaired, we will fill the food requests in the order they are received. We are so sorry for the inconvenience and will update everyone as soon as they are repaired.

The food lockers will be closed starting this Friday, July 3 through Sunday, July 5. Anyone needing food through the Food Locker system would need to put in a request before 3 PM Thursday, July 2. Any orders after that time will be filled on Monday, July 6.
