Judge Warren serves as a Circuit Court Judge for Washington and Madison Counties since 2021, presiding over juvenile, domestic relations, and probate matters. She specializes in child welfare and family law, a field she has been dedicated to since she first took a job with the State of Arkansas as an attorney for children in foster care. Originally from Gunnison, Colorado, Judge Warren has been a Fayetteville resident since she first moved here with her husband Ron in 1997 when he became a professor in the University of Arkansas Communications Department. She is active in the Washington County and Arkansas Bar Associations and serves on the Arkansas Judicial Council as well as various committees in the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges.

In Case You Missed It: April 2026 Drinks and Dialogue

Last week, over 35 community members gathered at Crisis Brewing Company to talk energy policy and rising energy costs. Our April speaker Peter Nierengarten, Environmental Director for City of Fayetteville Arkansas Government, broke down how Arkansas went from being a leader in solar energy to a state that rolled back net metering, limited wind energy, and is now facing rate increase requests from SWEPCO and Entergy in the ballpark of 20% to 30%.

The takeaway? Your voice matters. Whether you file a complaint with the Arkansas Public Service Commission or show up to public hearings, your influence can make a difference. Over 250 people have opposed an energy rate case, and legislators noticed. 💡🍺
