💐First and foremost, I want to thank God, because without Him, none of this would be possible. I give Him all the glory, honor, and praise for every door opened, every life touched, and every step of this journey.
💐To I Am Plush Modeling Company Mrs. Ne-Ne Walls CEO & Founder and Timeless Mom, thank you so much for this incredible Community Mom Award. I am truly honored, humbled, and grateful to even be recognized among so many amazing individuals doing impactful work in our community.
💐To every single person who voted for me, supported me, encouraged me, shared my vision, and believed in my passion — thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for not only seeing me, but seeing the purpose behind the work that I do.
💐My passion has always been bigger than just me. It is about people. It is about advocacy. It is about standing up for Domestic Violence Awareness, growth and development within our communities, unity, love, healing, and providing resources for those in need — no matter what that need may be.
💐Too often, people are divided because of stigma, stereotypes, past mistakes, or painful journeys. But I stand here today as proof that your past does not define your future. I step out to show others that they can step out too — no matter what trail they have walked down in life.
💐That is why the motto of my foundation, The Purple Trail Foundation Inc., is: “ You Never Walk Alone.”
💐Because no one should ever feel abandoned, forgotten, unworthy, or unseen.
💐I want every person listening to know this:
You are worthy.
You are valuable.
You are important.
You are intelligent.
You are Kings and Queens.
You are loved.
And your story still matters.
💐My walk on the runway is the same way I walk in the community — with pride, confidence, purpose, and strength. Not because life has always been easy, but because I know where God has brought me from. And if it had not been for Him, where would I be? That question could be answered a thousand different ways, but one thing I do know is this: God is faithful.
💐And He can be faithful to you too.
💐My challenge to everyone today is to open your heart, open your mind, and let God guide your steps. You never know where He may take you, how He may heal you, or who He may use you to help along the way.
💐Domestic violence is an issue that too often stays hidden in darkness and silence, revealed only through pain. But The Purple Trail Foundation Inc. will continue to stand, speak, advocate, educate, and make a difference — because change starts with one person, one conversation, one act of love, and one connection at a time.
