Meet the Member: Tina Freeman of The Hair Academy ✨

Meet Tina Freeman, owner and director of The Hair Academy, where students aren't just learning a trade—they're building confidence, discovering their purpose, and preparing for successful careers in the beauty industry.

For Tina, education goes far beyond passing a licensing exam. She believes every student should leave with professionalism, compassion, confidence, and a commitment to giving back to their community. One of her favorite sayings—and one that guides the culture at the academy—is simple: "Be a good human."

One of the most rewarding parts of her job is watching students transform from nervous, uncertain individuals into confident professionals ready to begin their careers. Those life-changing moments are what continue to inspire her every day.

When she's not at The Hair Academy, Tina is always chasing her next adventure. Whether she's kayaking, hiking, biking, traveling the world, or participating in Fayetteville Main Street's Race to Main, she believes life is meant to be lived and memories are worth making.

The Hair Academy offers accredited programs in cosmetology, aesthetics, instructor training, and more, along with financial aid opportunities, scholarships, and affordable salon services performed by senior-level students under instructor supervision.

Tina joined Fayetteville Main Street because she believes in supporting local businesses and investing in a vibrant downtown. She has been inspired by Main Street's work to strengthen the community and wanted The Hair Academy to be part of that mission.

Meet the Member: Stacy Allen of Studio 431 Wellness Spa

Meet Stacy Allen, owner of Studio 431 Wellness Spa, where beauty, wellness, and self-care come together to help clients look and feel their very best.

For Stacy, becoming a beauty professional was never just about appearance. Her passion has always been helping people feel better about themselves. She believes true beauty starts with confidence, wellness, and self-care, which inspired her to specialize in nail wellness before expanding Studio 431 into a full-service salon and wellness spa.

Her favorite part of the job is seeing clients leave feeling more confident, relaxed, and cared for than when they walked through the door.
If Stacy could recommend just one service, it would be the Wellness Pedicure. More than a cosmetic treatment, it's designed to improve foot health while providing a deeply relaxing experience. "Healthy feet are the foundation of overall wellness," she says, "and many clients don't realize how much better they can feel until they've experienced proper foot care."

When she's not at the salon, you'll likely find Stacy spending time with her husband and their puppy, Coco, traveling in their RV, serving at church, or learning new wellness techniques to bring fresh ideas and services to Studio 431.

One beauty tip Stacy wishes everyone knew? Consistency matters. Whether it's skincare, hair care, or nail care, small habits practiced regularly make a bigger difference than expensive products used occasionally. She also reminds clients that healthy hair and nails begin with good nutrition and hydration.

Stacy joined Fayetteville Main Street because she believes in supporting the business essence and people that make downtown special. She enjoys working alongside fellow business owners to create meaningful events, promote local shopping, and help Fayetteville continue to thrive while preserving its small-town charm.
