First Saturday gives me super anxiety. The kind that wakes me up in the middle of the night.

But this morning has already given me moments that center me. Moments that remind me why we do this and who we do it for.

A genuine hug from a vendor that felt like a hug from a mom. A heartfelt “How are you?” conversation. Seeing two young women I’ve watched grow up helping their parents at First Saturday now setting up booths of their own and running their own little businesses.

Shopping small and local has never just been about buying things. It’s about people. It’s about relationships. It’s about dreams, families, friendships, and watching the next generation find their place in our community.

So come see us downtown today.

From the merchants already opening their doors for a big day to the vendors setting up before sunrise, every purchase pours a little bit of joy back into our community.
