After much prayer, I (Dustin) announced to the church I will be transitioning out of my position as the youth pastor from Ridgeview. My family and I are so grateful for the time we have had at Ridgeview and I will miss serving with the awesome staff at this church! I had began feeling God leading me towards a different pastoral ministry sometime last year and after praying we have decided to pursue God's calling on my life as I continue in ministry. The details as to what will be next for us are still unknown but we are confident in God's direction and timing. We are fully trusting Him with what is next and we are ready for it.

My last Sunday at Ridgeview will be May 22nd but I will continue to lead midweek student service for the duration of the summer. I am thankful I have the opportunity to make this transition smooth and am praying for the next man God calls to this church! We are staying in the NWA area and we will continue to grow in the relationships we have built with those at the church.

Parents and adults,

This is why it is CRITICAL that you engage with the next generation whether they are your own children or other children in the church. Student pastors and ministry volunteers can only do so much on their own. The biggest impact you can have on the next generation is being intentional with them. Even something as small as giving them a ride to church, sitting with them, praying with them, or taking them to lunch can go a LONG way with students. If you want them to stay involved, you need to ask yourself what are you doing to engage with them. If you are not, we would love to help connect you. The reality is, if adults in the local church do not engage with our youth, the chances of them staying if their parents are lost are incredibly low.

Also, this Sunday we are having a Superbowl party at the Barton's house. We will start at 5:30. If you are planning on coming or bringing a friend let us know beforehand so we can finalize a head count for food!

Hey students! In light of the recent higher COVID numbers, we are making some modifications for midweek this week:

1. We will NOT have our small groups tonight. We will be meeting as a large group only in the gym.

2. We will not be providing food tonight.

3. Masks and distancing are encouraged. We will have lots of seating and chairs and encourage you to take advantage of it.

We are blessed to have a large space that we can meet and keep risk minimal! See you tonight at 6!

CHRISTMAS PARTY TONIGHT!!

We will have a white elephant gift game! The limit is $10 or whatever you can find. We will have a gift wrapping station and extra gifts in case anyone forgets. We will have some delicious food, sweet treats, and after our game we will head to the square to see some Christmas lights. Come hang out with us tonight at 6:00!
