It is our privilege to welcome Mark Mordell as the newest member of the Donovan & Bank Foundation Board of Advisors!

As Chairman and CEO of Avidbank Holdings, Inc., Mark’s leadership has shaped innovative strategies in the financial and commercial sectors. But his impact reaches far beyond business. His dedication to community service, demonstrated through his involvement with organizations like Stanford University and Peninsula Bridge, reflects a shared commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.

We are thrilled to welcome Ellie Kanner as the newest member of the Donovan & Bank Board of Advisors!

Our board members are crucial to our success. By leveraging their collective expertise and resources they help us advance our mission and support those we serve. With Ellie's extensive experience in the entertainment industry, we are honored to have her join our team.

Ellie has worn many hats in the entertainment world – talent agent, casting director, producer, writer, and director. Her career spans across various genres, from romantic comedy to action, and she's left her mark on iconic shows like Friends and S*x and the City, to name a few.

Transitioning seamlessly from casting to directing, Ellie has directed episodes for acclaimed series like Boston Legal, Wildfire, and Greek. Her indie films, including Crazylove and Authors Anonymous, have received worldwide distribution, showcasing her versatility and storytelling prowess.

Notably, Ellie's work on the short form series Dropping The Soap earned Jane Lynch an Emmy and can be found on Prime Video. She's also ventured into holiday movies, directing Discovery+'s first scripted holiday film, Candy Coated Christmas.
