Our Story Is Being Amplified!

We are incredibly grateful to Up & Coming Weekly for featuring the Girl, Ignite Your Fire! (GIYF) Teen Summit & Cultural Exchange and helping us share the story behind this incredible journey.

GIYF had one vision and it was brought to life. Connecting young ladies through mentorship, leadership, culture, service, personal development, and experiences designed to remind them of the power they already carry within themselves.

From North Carolina to St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, this journey was made possible because so many people believed in our girls and believed in the mission of ZCMMMP.

Having a community publication recognize and amplify this work means so much to us. Every feature helps our story travel a little farther, introduces our mission to someone new, and creates another opportunity for people to see what is possible when communities intentionally invest in young people.

This summer, a seven-member delegation of Fayetteville girls traveled to St. Croix for the inaugural Girl, Ignite Your Fire! Teen Summit & Cultural Exchange. Through leadership development, mentorship, wellness activities, community service and cultural exchange, they formed lasting connections while discovering more about their own strengths and potential.

ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL BACKPACK GIVEAWAY!

What an incredible way to kick off the new school year! This year, we were blessed to serve 450+ children throughout Fayetteville, Cumberland County, and Fort Bragg with backpacks and school supplies.

As students head back to the classroom, we wish every student and family a safe, successful, and productive school year. May this year be filled with growth, confidence, new opportunities, and plenty of milestones.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to our sponsors: Operation Homefront, Turning Headz Lawncare, Dollar Tree stores, and the Tolson Youth Center at Fort Bragg, for helping make it possible for us to continue serving our community. Because of your support, we celebrated our 5th year of giving back with our annual Backpack Giveaway!

2026 Meal Packing with United Way-Cumberland County. Over 700+ Volunteers, 72,900+ Meals packed with nothing but love and community partnerships.

Our teens have been volunteering for 3 year now and this a tradition we look forward to every year.

We did it!!

Our initial goal was to pack 30,000 meals. But we didn't just meet that goal, we completely blew past it, packing 40,000 meals that will be sent out to Zambia.
