State Flag Host Appreciation Month: Georgia 🇺🇸

All month we’re honoring our State Flag Hosts, the first location in each state to proudly display a Flag to Remember.

Today, we’re recognizing a host who helped us reach a new milestone.

When we shared the mission with Tyler, founder of Nine Line Apparel, and his staff, they were so quick to say yes, and they wanted our largest flag. Georgia’s Flag 009 became our very first large memorial flag.

It now hangs beautifully from the rafters inside Nine Line’s headquarters in Savannah. A place where people can look up, see the names, and take a moment to remember the lives behind them.

Thank you, Tyler and the entire Nine Line team, for welcoming this mission and giving these names a home. Your quick yes helped us take another step forward, creating a meaningful place for families to visit and feel close to the ones they lost.

Not for a meal. Not for a meeting. But to stand in front of their loved one’s name, and know they are still remembered.

A Flags to Remember memorial flag isn’t just something you hang on a wall. It’s a permanent place of honor. A destination for families. An invitation for your community to learn the stories behind the names.

Tennessee did NOT disappoint. 🔥

We hit the road from Clarksville to downtown Nashville on our Flag Host recruiting trip, and the welcome from both cities was unreal. Every door we knocked on opened. People listened, people cared, and people wanted in.

Today, we’re celebrating One Family Brewing—a host that brings laughter, heart, and remembrance to its community all year long.

If he’s not making you laugh with his creative and hilarious b**r labels, he’s honoring our fallen service members and lifting up the families they left behind. That commitment makes One Family Brewing such a meaningful home for our Virginia State Flag.

It's time we reintroduce ourselves!

Flag to Remember started with one flag and a few names we couldn't let be forgotten. Since then, this community has carried those names into cities and states across the country, further than we ever expected.

Now we're heading into a new chapter, and it's moving faster than ever. New flags, new hosts, new states and more families finding their loved one's name on display.

As we grow, we want you to know exactly who we are, why we do this and where we're going. So we made a new information brochure, and over the next few posts we'll share it one page at a time.

North Carolina is where this foundation grew its legs, found its direction and discovered its mission. Some of the first names, the first families and the first "this matters" moments happened right here.

TENNESSEE, WE'RE COMING.

October 8–11, the Flag to Remember team is hitting the road and heading to Tennessee. We're knocking on doors and looking for our next Tennessee Flag Hosts: places that will give the names of our fallen heroes a permanent home.

Nashville, we're coming for you. So tell us: WHERE SHOULD WE GO?

We're looking for:

Any place with a wall and a community that never forgets
