Yesterday in Gypsum, CO, we got to feel exactly why the FTR mission matters. The community showed up in a BIG way, learned rhe story behind Flag to Remember, and immediately understood that every name on this flag is a life, a story, and a family.

For hours we shared stories tied to the names on , raised a glass to those who gave their lives for our country and their families, and walked away with our Flag to Remember family a little bigger.

The day was full of both laughter and tears, a real reminder that these heroes are still deeply loved.

Thank you, Ryan, and the entire Gypsum community, for opening your doors and your hearts to this flag and to the families behind every name.

Day 6: Camp Lejeune ➜ Richlands, NC 🇺🇸

Something incredible happens when you put boots on the ground with strangers and just start walking. By mile 3 you're laughing. By mile 10 you're sharing things you've never said out loud. By the end of the day, they're not strangers anymore — they're family.

That's what this ruck does. It doesn't matter if you wore a uniform, a badge, scrubs, or nothing at all. It doesn't matter where you're from, what you believe, or what you've been through. The road has a way of stripping all of that away and leaving just two people walking side by side, realizing their pain isn't so different from the person next to them.

We don't have to have the same story to understand each other. We just have to be willing to walk together.

Day 4: Kenansville ➜ Richlands 🇺🇸

Today we’re rucking from Kenansville to Richlands with a quick refuel at McDonald’s, but the real work is in the conversations. Our daily message is simple: when you meet a family who’s lost someone to su***de, ask about their person, use their name, listen to their stories, and help keep their memory alive.

Every mile is for a life, and every story shared is a way of saying, “They mattered, and they’re not forgotten.”

Day 3: Clinton ➜ Kenansville 🇺🇸
Miles are stacking up, legs are smoked, but the mission is louder than the pain. Today we’re rucking from Clinton to Kenansville with a pit stop at Jersey Mike’s in Warsaw to refuel and keep pushing for those fighting battles we can’t see.
If you’re along the route, swing by, grab lunch, walk a mile, or just say what’s up. Every honk, wave, and handshake reminds someone they’re not alone.
