Did you know? Leukemia is the most common pediatric cancer, accounting for nearly 1 in 3 childhood cancer diagnoses.

Leukemia begins in the bone marrow, where blood cells are made. It causes abnormal white blood cells to crowd out healthy cells, which can lead to symptoms such as fatigue, frequent infections, easy bruising, and shortness of breath.

As we continue to raise awareness for childhood cancer, it’s important to learn the facts, support affected families, and advocate for increased research funding. Every child deserves a chance to grow up cancer-free. 💛

Join me for Hits for Cancer, a Home Run Derby benefiting the National Children’s Cancer Society! Every swing, every raffle ticket, and every donation helps support children and families facing childhood cancer.

📅 June 19th
📍 Eastover Community Park

💲 $20 Entry Fee (10 swings for 12 pitches)

I know I’ve been a little quiet the past few days, but life lately has been nonstop in the best and most exhausting way possible. Between preparing for Miss North Carolina, appearances, starting a new job, and everyday life, this week has definitely tested me a little. 🤍

Even on the busy days, I’m reminding myself how grateful I am to be living this season of life. Growth isn’t always glamorous, but every long day, early morning, and late night is worth it. Slowly but surely becoming the woman I’ve prayed to be. 🤍🫶🏻
