From Mike Rogers post
Marcia and I have been going to the Veterans cemetery in S Fayetteville AR over Memorial weekend the last 4 years. To honor our veterans we have a moment of silence, a prayer of thankfulness, for their families sacrifice, and for their service that provides freedom for all of us. We pray for our country, our leaders and peace.
This beautiful place of peacefulness in South Fayetteville is surrounded by poverty, and homelessness. As you pray this memorial weekend please include in your prayers peace and love for our brothers and sisters living in chaos in poverty and on the streets.
Our non-profit ministry’s website is Hearts4Service.org. The organization is all donation based. If you would like to give a donation at Hearts4Service.org to honor a friend or family member that died while serving in our Military and those that served that have gone on before us. We would be very grateful for your support and our role in you honoring a hero and love one. All proceeds go toward giving the poor, and unsheltered a hand up. In both cases there are veterans.
Please include a few words about who you are honoring. If you’d like to share more of the honorees story please email me at [email protected]. As we collect this information we would like to include everyone’s name and a short story on the website.
God bless each of you and God bless the United States of America.
