During our Shop with a Hero event, one of our board members, Chief Bo Wells, was stuck at home with his broken leg. Luckily, he lives next door to the venue, so some of our kids were able to make an impromptu parade to wish him a Merry Christmas!

Howard County Heroes is a nonprofit organization founded by first responders dedicated to serving and supporting local families and children. Our mission is to provide essential resources, emotional support, and community connection to individuals in our community, leveraging the compassion and commitment of our first responders.
Our inaugural event, "Shop with a Hero," will bring first responders and children from low income families together for a joyful shopping experience, fostering trust and creating lasting memories.
