Our youth aren’t just the church of the future, they are the church of today! Their ages does not disqualify them from service in the church and in the Kingdom NOW. So thankful that these young people WANT to serve, they serve regularly AND they aren’t always serving in ways that receives a lot of praise!

We have really enjoyed our summer of “bars” 🤪 (lemonade, hat, ice cream, pretzel, popcorn, etc.) and our Bible stories that you don’t learn about in children’s books 😳 And, now we are looking forward to the season to come!

What a priceless gift to be invited into the home of Mark and Melinda Wheat for a time of food, fellowship, worship, Bible study and discussion. We are so grateful for their generosity in opening their home and feeding us, as well as the love shown by Terri Rogers, Cory, Brooke, and Dana! Our church family LOVES our youth and this is just one of those many reminders!

Generate Beach Camp 🌊 Even if it’s over a month since we went 🤪

We took a deep look in John 15:1-11 the entire week to learn more about how our lives need to be so rooted in Christ AND that we are so loved and cared for by the Gardener. What a gift to spend time with this youth family supported by our greater church family in deep fellowship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit 🙏🏼

FFMC Lock-In 2026 🔦😴✝️

We learned about surrender from the life of Job - he praised God when he had everything and he praised God when he lost everything because he had already surrendered it all to Him 🙌🏼✝️

Then we spent a little time surrendering our own things to God and declaring the blood of Jesus already has us covered!!

Thank you to SO many who made this possible!! JD, Sean, Zaden, Gabbie and Abigail for leading worship (which took hours of practice). Thank you, Aliya, for the words on our canvas 🎨 Thank you, Allene, Jordan, Cari, and Anna for cooking 🥞 Thank you, Alex and Jacey for allowing the Holy Spirit to speak and pray over these youth through you. And, Alex for helping the underground church get away from the guards 🤣 Thank you to Alex and Robin MacDonald for donating snacks!! Thank you, Todd and Kristie for bringing muffins, cinnamon rolls and sausage biscuits, and Todd for also helping wrap up clean up! Thank you to allllllll the amazing youth who participated and helped put everything back in order. And, thank you to our church family who always encourages unity and time together for our youth!!

✨ Fayette First Methodist Youth Christmas Progressive Dinner ✨

What a wonderful night!! 🎄We could not be more grateful for our amazing church family that served our youth so well tonight. Shout outs specifically to Todd & Kristie Ramsey, Brandy Black, Brent & Trina Daniels, Merrill & Sandy Nolen, Steve & Ashley, Steve & Debbie Herring and Vicki Newman for all the time, love, generosity and opening your beautiful homes!! I believe Sarah Newton also helped Debbie with games, but she was giving the commencement address at Auburn University today 🐯 We ate so very well and laughed and played all night - so glad we started early 🥴 We talk regularly about how much they are loved and it’s nights like these that they feel that love so deeply!

Also, happy birthday to Aliya!! So glad she chose to spend part of her birthday with us!! 🥳
