Justice, the Silent Geometry

Justice does not rise to punish...
It rises to restore...
It is not the thunder of consequence...
nor the sharp edge of retribution...
Justice is the quiet return of things to where they belong...
It is not the invention of men...
nor the product of their shifting moods...
It is older than law...
older than kingdoms...
older than the first stone ever lifted by human hands...
Justice belongs to the balance that sustains the universe...
the same balance that keeps stars in their courses...
that guides the tides...
that shapes the unseen architecture of order and harmony...
In Freemasonry...
this balance is not abstract...
It is lived...
It is symbolized in the Square that measures truth...
in the Level that honors equality...
in the Plumb that demands uprightness...
These tools do not punish...
They correct...
They align...
They restore...
Justice is the gentle hand that lifts a fallen stone...
and sets it true again...
It is the quiet wisdom that refuses to lean the balance...
even when leaning would benefit you...
It is the inner geometry that keeps a man straight...
when the world around him bends...
True justice is not loud...
It does not seek applause...
It does not announce itself...
It simply brings things back to the harmony intended by the Great Architect...
And when a Mason practices justice...
he participates in that cosmic order...
not as judge...
not as ruler...
but as a keeper of balance...
in a world that often forgets it...
Justice does not punish...
It restores...
It does not belong to men...
It belongs to the eternal equilibrium that holds creation together...
and the Mason...
in his quiet labor...

🔹 A Great Evening of Fellowship at Friendship Lodge No. 663 🔹
Friendship Lodge No. 663 had the pleasure of welcoming Brothers from Mount Lebanon Lodge No. 226, along with Brothers from several other Lodges, for an enjoyable evening of fellowship and degree work.
Congratulations to Dalton Channel and Nicholas Lynch on receiving their Second Degree in Freemasonry — the Fellowcraft Degree. May you both continue to grow in knowledge, brotherhood, and your Masonic journey.
A special thank you to PM William C. Yale and Joe Backus for their excellent degree work, as well as the Officers of Friendship Lodge No. 663 and everyone who attended and helped make the evening a success.
We especially appreciate the Brothers of Mount Lebanon Lodge No. 226 for making the trip to visit us. It is always a pleasure to welcome visiting Brothers, strengthen old friendships, and make new ones.
Thank you to everyone who helped make it a wonderful and memorable night.

Intuition is the Silent Voice...
the whisper of the Divine...
the guidance of the Great Architect...
the inner Light that speaks long before the mind understands...
There are truths that cannot be taught by books...
lectures...
or instruction...
They arrive when the heart becomes still...
when the passions are circumscribed...
and when the mind stops interrupting the soul’s deeper knowing...
This is the moment when the Mason’s inner temple opens...
and Light enters...
Freemasonry teaches that every Brother carries within him a spark of the Eternal...
a compass pointing toward truth even when the world is loud...
The Square aligns our outward actions...
but intuition aligns our inward ones...
The Level reminds us to walk humbly with all people...
but intuition reminds us to walk honestly with ourselves...
The Compasses draw the boundaries that protect our peace...
but intuition reveals where those boundaries must be placed...
Intuition is the working tool of the spirit...
It is the chisel that shapes wisdom...
It is the plumb line that tests the uprightness of our motives...
It is the Light that glows even in darkness...
guiding the Builder forward...
When the mind grows quiet...

honors bestowed...
or memberships accumulated...
These may decorate a man’s journey...
but they do not define it...
Wisdom reveals itself in the lessons we embrace...
the character we cultivate...
and the Light we share with those around us...
Like a Master Mason studying the ancient designs of sacred architecture...
each of us is a builder...
shaping our life...
our values...
and our legacy one intentional stone at a time...
Every challenge becomes a chisel cut that refines us...
Every experience becomes a blueprint that guides us...
Every act of kindness becomes a mark that endures long after our Earthly labor is complete...
The true Work of the Craft is inward...
It is measured in patience...
humility...
and the steady pursuit of understanding...
It is seen in how we treat others...
