As a follow-up to the lake's dredging project, we are gathering information from property owners regarding the condition of areas ten feet or more from their docks. Certain sections of the lake, particularly those affiliated with the Lake Improvement board or the other lake association, show spotless lakefront and seawalls that extend beyond ten feet. For reference, this is ten feet from our dock in North Scott Cove, also referred to as Pontoon Alley. Your insights and photos regarding any concerns would be appreciated.

To clarify, Lake Thirteen is indeed a public lake, as it has always been. Consequently, the gate at the boat launch was removed at the request of the Roard Commission, as it is impermissible to block access to a public lake when the entrance is owned by the county or state. 👇
