Another incredible Ithaca race day is in the books! 🧡

First, I want to apologize for the delayed post, but I couldn’t let this day pass without saying thank you.

Although I wasn’t able to be there on Saturday due to being sick, I was definitely there in spirit. A huge thank you to my family for stepping in to run the James Musil Memorial Foundation tent. They gave up their Saturday so the foundation could still be part of this amazing event, and I couldn’t be more grateful for their love and support.

Thank you to CMMBA for hosting another incredible race day, and to every racer, volunteer, spectator, and supporter who stopped by the tent. Every purchase and every conversation helps us continue our mission.

A special thank you to DaylightBrand for creating this year’s Ithaca shirts and for being such incredible friends and partners of the foundation. We are so grateful for your continued support.

Every dollar the foundation receives goes right back into Michigan’s mountain biking community through concussion and traumatic brain injury education, trail maintenance, trail features, and other projects that help make our sport stronger and safer.

Looking forward to another year Marquette Trails Festival 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

James Musil, a passionate mountain bike racer who frequented our races, tragically passed away in 2022 after an accident downstate on the trails.
The James Musil Memorial Foundation is a non-profit organization created to honor James and his love for biking, raise funds to give back to the trails, and promote youth biking and safety.
His wife, Stephanie, will have a booth set up at Marquette Trails Fest to share more information about the foundation. Make sure to stop by and say hi. jamesmusilmemorialfoundation.org
