Introduction to food. Fall squash cookies.
Popular fall squash (and pumpkin) can be used to make delicious cookies. Fall squash add moisture and sweetness, resulting in soft, cake-like cookies that are perfect for the season.

Benefits of Using Squash in Cookies

○ Moisture: Squash helps keep cookies soft and chewy.
○ Natural Sweetness: Reduces the need for added sugars.
○ Nutritional Value: Adds vitamins and fiber to baked goods.

Cookie Variations

○ Chocolate Chip Cookies: Butternut squash can be blended into the dough for a unique twist.
○ Spiced Cookies: Pumpkin is often combined with spices like cinnamon and nutmeg for a classic fall flavor.
○ Nut and Fruit Additions: Dried fruits or nuts can enhance the texture and flavor of squash cookies.

Using fall squash in cookies not only enhances their taste but also makes them a healthier option for seasonal treats. Search out a favorite cookie recipe of fall squash online.

We receive weekly deliveries of fall squash from our locally sourced Archlynn Farm and delivery from Feed More
