📣 Case Update: Anthony Hill Has Been Released 📣

After months of relentless legal advocacy, filings, hearings, and an unwavering commitment to justice — we are proud to announce that Anthony Hill has been released from prison.

This was not an easy fight.

It took extensive legal work, coordination, and the refusal to accept that a man’s life should be measured in years lost behind bars over circumstances that demanded review and fairness. Our team stood firm in the belief that justice must be proportional — and that when the system gets it wrong, someone has to step up and fight to make it right.

Anthony is now home.

Free to rebuild.
Free to reconnect with his family.
Free to begin again.

This is exactly why the Society for the Rights of Man exists — to advocate for those who cannot fight these battles alone and to ensure that due process, fairness, and human dignity are not just words on paper.

We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who supported this effort along the way.

Today is a victory — not just for Anthony — but for justice.

🇺🇸 When Did $2,000 Become Worth 10 Years of a Human Life? 🇺🇸

Across this country, American citizens are being sentenced to decades in prison for crimes involving less than $2,000.

Let that sink in.

We are taking YEARS — entire chapters of someone’s life — away from them over an amount of money that wouldn’t even cover a used car… or two months of rent in some cities.

That is not justice.
That is not proportional.
And that is NOT freedom.

No victim in America would be sentenced to spend a decade in prison for losing $2,000 — yet we are sentencing people to lose their families, their futures, their livelihoods, and sometimes their very will to live over that same amount.

A prison sentence is not just “time.”
It is time stolen from your children.
Time taken from your parents.
Time you never get back with loved ones who may pass while you’re gone.
It is birthdays missed.
Funerals unattended.
Opportunities destroyed.

We must begin recognizing incarceration for what it truly is:
A loss of life measured in years.

Time served should be accounted for in terms of life lost — because that’s exactly what it is.

Justice should restore.
Justice should be fair.
Justice should be measured.

But when the punishment far outweighs the harm… that’s not justice.

That’s a system in need of reform.

At The Society for the Rights of Man, we stand for those who are silenced by cost, complexity, and fear. Justice should never be reserved for the wealthy. We support everyday people who cannot afford access to the courts, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights defended. Standing for dignity, fairness, and equal justice for all is not optional — it is our mission.

🕊️ Gratitude from the Shadows. Truth from the Silence. 🕊️

This artwork was drawn by a man held in maximum-security isolation—a place where voices are buried, time stands still, and humanity is often forgotten.

He created this for us as a thank-you.

Not for comfort.
Not for favors.
But for standing beside him while he pursued accountability against corrupt officers who physically abused him in custody.

When the system tried to break him, he used the only tools he had left: a pencil, patience, and truth.

This drawing is more than art.
It is evidence of resilience.
It is proof that dignity survives—even in isolation.
It is a reminder of why we do this work.

At the Society for the Rights of Man, we believe:
• No badge excuses abuse
• No cell erases human rights
• No wall is thick enough to silence the truth

To the man who drew this:
You are seen. You are heard. You are not alone.

Justice does not require freedom to begin—only courage.

✊ We will keep standing. We will keep fighting. We will keep exposing the truth.

People always forget this: inmates are the frontline of our Constitutional rights.
Every time the government tries to stretch its power, limit freedoms, or bend the rules, it almost always shows up first in the justice system and inside the walls of the prisons. That’s where constitutional rights are tested long before most Americans even notice anything is happening.
You don’t “challenge” a constitutional right in theory — you challenge it when the government tries to take it. And by the time an average citizen feels it, incarcerated people have already been living it.
America talks about freedom nonstop, yet we have the highest incarceration rate on the entire planet. Higher than any nation we point fingers at. Higher than nations we call oppressive.
Higher than countries we say don’t respect human rights.
Mass incarceration isn’t just punishment —
it’s a system that shapes behavior, enforces control, and funnels people into state-managed “correction” environments designed to break them down and rebuild them into something else.
If we’re going to talk about freedom, rights, or liberty,
we need to talk about the people living in the system that tests those rights every single day.
Prison isn’t just a place where people are sent for crimes — it’s the first battlefield where the government’s reach meets the Constitution head-on. And if we ignore what happens in there,
we’ll miss the warning signs of what can happen out here.

The Society for the Rights of Man writes to formally notify you of ongoing concerns regarding CoreCivic’s continued non-compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Rehabilitation Act, and constitutional obligations owed to inmate Anthony Hill, a documented and severely mentally disabled individual currently held at the Shelby, Montana facility.

Over the past several months, we have submitted multiple written requests, supporting documentation, and formal inquiries seeking reasonable accommodations, appropriate placement, and necessary protective measures for Mr. Hill pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 12132 (ADA Title II), 29 U.S.C. § 794 (Rehabilitation Act), and applicable Fourteenth Amendment due-process protections.

Despite these efforts, CoreCivic has failed to:
• Provide reasonable accommodations for a known mental disability;
• Ensure appropriate mental-health placement and treatment;
• Protect Mr. Hill from foreseeable harm and neglect;
• Engage in any meaningful ADA interactive process;
• Demonstrate compliance with federal disability-rights standards.

Mr. Hill’s condition, documented vulnerabilities, and functional impairments are well-established, and CoreCivic is fully aware of his need for heightened care, supervision, and ADA-mandated accommodations. Continued disregard of these obligations constitutes a violation of federal disability law, a breach of constitutional duty, and a substantial risk of ongoing and irreparable harm.

After exhausting all reasonable avenues for cooperative resolution, we are now preparing to file a civil complaint asserting violations of the ADA, the Rehabilitation Act, and Mr. Hill’s constitutional rights under 42 U.S.C. § 1983. The Society for the Rights of Man cannot—under federal law or ethical duty—remain silent while a mentally disabled inmate is subjected to neglect by an institution entrusted with his care.

We request that your office preserve all records, communications, medical logs, incident reports, grievance filings, ADA accommodation documents, and any materials related to Mr. Hill, as required under litigation-hold standards.

We will continue to update all appropriate agencies and parties as this matter proceeds.

Thank you for your attention. Please direct any further correspondence regarding this issue to our organization.

Sincerely,
The Society for the Rights of Man

📢 Society for the Rights of Man – Update on Inmate Anthony Hill

The Society for the Rights of Man has continued to monitor the situation involving Anthony Hill, a severely mentally disabled inmate currently under the custody of CoreCivic in Shelby, Montana.

Despite repeated outreach, documentation, and attempts to work collaboratively, CoreCivic has demonstrated a continued inability or unwillingness to provide the assistance, placement, and protections that Mr. Hill urgently requires. His condition, vulnerability, and documented mental disabilities demand immediate action and humane intervention—yet those needs remain unmet.

After exhausting all reasonable avenues for cooperation, we are left with no choice but to prepare and file a civil complaint against CoreCivic. Our organization cannot—and will not—stand by while a disabled inmate continues to be neglected by an institution responsible for his care, safety, and basic human rights.

We will keep our supporters updated as we proceed.
No one is disposable. Every person deserves dignity, protection, and justice.

📢 Society for the Rights of Man – Update on Anthony Levi Hill (Shelby, Montana)
Today we received a formal response from CoreCivic’s Director of Ethics & Compliance, acknowledging our report and confirming that they will be speaking directly with Shelby Facility staff regarding the urgent concerns we raised about disabled inmate Anthony Levi Hill.
Anthony, who lives with a mental health disability, has been left without the assistance and accommodations he is legally entitled to—resulting in serious delays to his parole process. These delays are not only unacceptable… they are inhumane.
The email confirms that CoreCivic has reviewed our concerns and will provide updates as they become available. We will continue monitoring their actions closely, and we will continue advocating for Anthony until he receives the support, medical care, and procedural fairness he deserves.
To our followers:
Thank you for standing with us. Your support gives people like Anthony a voice when they are ignored. We will keep you updated every step of the way as new information comes in.

📬 If you would like to assist Anthony or support our broader mission, please stay tuned for additional calls to action.
Together, we defend the rights of the forgotten.

💔 PLEASE READ — A MAN’S FREEDOM IS BEING UNFAIRLY HELD BACK

Today, our hearts are heavy as we share the story of Anthony Levi Hill (DOC #3024676) — a man who has already been granted mental-health parole, yet still sits behind the same walls because the facility responsible for his care has failed to provide the very assistance required for his release.
This is more than delay.
This is more than negligence.
This is a human being’s life on hold because the system refuses to do its job.
Anthony has struggled, survived, and fought every day to comply with what the state asked of him — but he cannot complete requirements that the facility itself refuses to provide. His mental-health needs are real, valid, and recognized by the parole board… yet ignored by the people entrusted with his care.
He is currently housed at:
Crossroads Correctional Center
50 Crossroads Drive
Shelby, MT 59474
Phone: (406) 434-7055
No one deserves to be forgotten like this.
No one deserves to be left behind because of bureaucracy and indifference.
