Last weekend, Pack 231 enjoyed participating in the annual Cub Fest Campout! Scouts got to fish, climb an obstacle course, learn about scouting through the decades, and spend a beautiful day outside. You're invited to join in the fun next Tuesday, 10/20 at 7:00 PM at Beechview Elementary for our second pack meeting of the year. We will complete an activity for a local literacy nonprofit, Making Spirits Bright, hear about Scouting America Jamboree, and have our own Jamboree activities. We hope to see you there!

Hi Families! This Friday is our biggest fundraiser of the year. We are SUPER excited and have community heroes coming to help us exercise and celebrate. However, our donations are low and we need your help! Currently we raised $2,965 which is just half of what we raised last year, and not even half of our goal of $10.000. Money raised from this event goes towards classroom stipends for teachers to use on kids, bussing for field trip or other educational programs for grade levels, PTA events held at Lanigan, staff appreciation, prizes for those who donate to our Splash Dash and MORE!!!! Please consider donating, and sharing on your social media so your friends and family can donate too! We will be accepting online donations for prizes until October 23rd. Hi Families! The PTA is excited to present to you, a new and improved Laps for Lanigan. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and we appreciate your support! This year, we are changing it to a SPLASH DASH! Lanigan Eagles will run laps around the front parking lot on October 9th as a fitness activity fundraiser to raise money for our PTA. As an extra bonus, we have community members coming to do fitness activities with the kids along the way. We will have parents lightly spraying our children with a color/water/vinegar mix. It will come out of clothes but please don't send your child in their personal best, just in case. (If your child does not want to get sprayed, we will do our best to make sure that doesn't happen.) Please send a water bottle with your child that day. New this year, we are doing online donations only. We are using a new (free) company that will track the money raised for our PTA.
