Franklin County 4-H is offering to-go containers so you can grab your dinner and enjoy it wherever you’d like. Come support a great cause - rain or shine!

NEW! 2026 Farm Tractor Safety Course in Turner🚜
🔗Register at https://umaine-extension.formtitan.com/ftproject/events?eventid=a1cUy000005jLYT

This spring, UMaine Cooperative Extension is offering a 5-week course covering tractor safety at SR1 Equipment in Turner, ME.
Through in-person lectures, hands-on demonstrations, and tractor driving, participants will learn how to handle tractors and equipment safely, how to identify hazards, and how to minimize the chances of accidents.

Dates:
🗓️April 27
🗓️May 4
🗓️May 11
🗓️May 18
🗓️June 1

- Federal Certificate of Training issued upon successful completion.
- Open to all interested adults and youth.
- Required for 14 and 15-year-olds to operate farm equipment for hire on farms other than their own.

💵There is a sliding scale course fee of $45 full price, $20 discounted rate (for youth 14 - 17 and those who can afford ~50% of the course fee).
