This Memorial Day, the Tunxis Foundation pauses to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

We are deeply grateful for those who gave their lives to protect the freedoms we cherish each day. As we gather with family and friends, may we also take a moment to reflect on their courage, sacrifice, and legacy.

Last Wednesday, the CT State Tunxis Foundation was proud to celebrate our student scholarship recipients at Scholarship Awards Night!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors and supporters, we awarded more than $80,000 in scholarships to over 60 students, helping remove financial barriers and create pathways to success.

Congratulations to all of our recipients — your hard work and perseverance inspire us every day. And to our donors and supporters, thank you for making opportunities like this possible. We truly could not do it without you!

🎉 What a Night! Pizza & Pints Delivers for Students! 🍕🍺

Last Friday, the Tunxis Foundation’s Pizza & Pints: Scholars for Dollars for CT State Tunxis students fundraiser was an incredible success—and it’s all because of YOU!

With a sold-out crowd, an electric atmosphere, and a community that truly showed up, we raised nearly $24,000 to support Tunxis students through scholarships and programs that remove barriers and create opportunity. 💙

From the start of the evening, guests enjoyed:
🎶 Live music from Acoustic Thunder that kept the energy high
🍕 A fully “sauced” pizza experience from Kinsmen Brewing Company
🍦 Sweet treats from Ben & Jerry’s
🎟️ Dozens of exciting silent auction and “Drop-in-the-Bucket” items that sparked generous giving throughout the night

It was a powerful reminder of what happens when the Tunxis community comes together with purpose.
