✨PRAISE UPDATE✨

At our Good News Club, we were able to run through the story of Joseph with the kids, teaching them about the importance and strength God has and that he works even in bad circumstances.

The kids were a bit more reserved at first, simply watching and patiently hearing the story, but over time I was excited to see the kids really get excited for club every week and that they could hear truths about the bible right where they go to school. They knew many answers to our questions and seemed eager to ask more when given the chance to relate these stories to their own lives.

A few of the kids, when asked, raised their hand in wanting to know more about Christ. I can see God planting seeds through our ministry here and I hope to see God keep taking these kids to even farther heights with His love and compassion on them.

Overall, this Good News Club was fantastic! I cannot wait to go to another one and keep spreading the word and bolstering our young Christians up in Christ.

“The Light of the World” Movie Night — January 23rd✨👑
With 315 people in attendance, we had the joy of gathering as a community and sharing the powerful story of Jesus. Before the film, we were also able to share about Good News Clubs and how children can learn about Christ right in their schools. Thankful for such a meaningful night!

Praise update‼️ 📣
“Excelsior Elementary, located in Excelsior, Minnesota, has a long history with Good News Clubs.  For the past several years, my children have participated in the club and I have had the opportunity to serve in various volunteer positions.

When I first learned about Good News Club, I was so excited that my kids would have a safe space at school to reinforce their faith.  Not only did they learn through the lessons and memory work, but they also connected with other Christian friends and were able to see that they are surrounded by staff members who love the Lord.

This past school year, we welcomed between 35-40 kids each week to our club.  We were bursting at the seams in the best possible way.  Through our time of praise and worship, small group sharing and the Bible lessons, the kids grew in both their knowledge of, and love for, Jesus.  Over the course of 6 weeks, we had 19 kids ask Jesus into their hearts.  I received many messages from parents sharing their child’s excitement and enthusiasm over what they learned.  We also had many teachers visit the club, ask about it, and some even provided prizes to support the work we were doing!

This year, we have had so much interest that we will be running two clubs: one in the fall and one in the spring.  In the fall, we are going to teach the kids how to stand firm in their faith by studying the book of Daniel.  The spring session will focus on gospel lessons.

Through Good News Club and the support of Child Evangelism Fellowship, countless kids have experienced Jesus’s love at Excelsior Elementary.  Please continue to pray for the children, volunteers and staff of our school that Jesus’s name will be glorified and hearts will turn to Him.”
